About EOS KSI
EOS KSI Slovakia is a leading provider of receivables management services. The company is a member of the international Otto Group, headquartered in Hamburg, operating in more than 20 countries. EOS KSI specializes mainly in clients from the financial sector, helping them manage large volumes of receivables – either through mandate management or acquisitions. In Slovakia, it is one of the market leaders and also successful internationally.
Challenge: Infrastructure Modernization
In 2018, the internal IT infrastructure of EOS KSI was reaching the end of its lifecycle. The company faced a decision whether to modernize the existing on-premise solution or move to more modern technologies with greater flexibility, higher security, and more predictable costs.
In 2018 our IT infrastructure was at the end of its lifecycle, so we faced the task of replacing it. We launched a tender and, as private clouds were becoming popular at the time, we also included companies providing these services.
Role of O2 Business Services
Founded in 2015, O2 Business Services (O2BS) is today one of the leading providers of telecommunication and ICT solutions for business customers in Slovakia. Its wide portfolio covers mobile and fixed data services, voice solutions, as well as advanced infrastructure, security, and cloud services.
A key part of O2BS’s strategy is cooperation with technology partners. One of the long-term partners is Geetoo Technology, a leading Central European expert in cloud infrastructure design, operation, and support.
In the area of cloud services we cooperate with Geetoo Technology, which is our technology partner and provides a complete portfolio of cloud and virtualization services for our customers.
In the EOS KSI project, O2BS acted in a dual role – as an operator ensuring connectivity and telecommunication services, and as an integrator recommending Geetoo as a technology partner for the private cloud.
Geetoo Technology sme si vybrali na základe prieskumu trhu a vyhodnotenia nami definovaných parametrov – splnila technologické aj ‘soft’ predpoklady na spoluprácu s nami ako telekomunikačným operátorom pri poskytovaní cloudových a virtualizačných služieb.
Solution: Geetoo Private Cloud with O2BS Services
Based on the results of the tender, the chosen solution was a combination of O2 Business Services and Geetoo Technology. Geetoo delivered a private cloud solution built on VMware, while O2BS provided voice and data services, management of network infrastructure (firewalls, switches), and security services including web protection.
The migration went smoothly – partly thanks to the fact that EOS KSI’s previous environment was also based on VMware. It required setting up network connectivity and related services, while the actual data transfer was technically straightforward.

EOS KSI today operates its key systems in the Geetoo private cloud, complemented by telecommunication and infrastructure services from O2BS – gaining a reliable foundation for further growth.
