A Day in the Life of an L1 Admin

Each day begins with reviewing alerts in monitoring tools like CMK and Grafana, followed by addressing open tickets.L1 admins communicate directly with customers — both via phone and in writing — and document all interactions in the ticketing system. They independently resolve simpler issues, consult with senior L2 colleagues on more complex problems, or utilize our extensive knowledge base. 

In their work, they engage with modern technologies such as Kubernetes, Veeam, S3, and VMware tools. Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems is essential, along with an understanding of hardware and networking. At Geetoo, we support continuous learning. Our administrators have the opportunity to expand their knowledge, explore new technologies, and progress toward specialized roles within the company.
