Michal Kraus Appointed as Managing Director of Geetoo Technology
This marks a pivotal moment for Geetoo Technology, as it is the first time in 20 years that one of the company’s founders is not at its helm. Outgoing Managing Director Michal Hampl is transitioning to Geetoo Holding, where he will focus on strategic initiatives alongside Vladimír Kvaš and Matěj Žáček.
Incoming Managing Director Michal Kraus holds degrees in Computer Engineering and Economics from the Czech Technical University in Prague and has completed an Executive MBA program. With over 25 years of experience in IT, Michal has worked his way up from technical roles to entrepreneurial ventures and, most recently, top management positions over the last six years. He is married with two daughters and enjoys horseback riding, golf, and skiing in his free time.

“Handing over the company we built over 20 years with Vladimír Kvaš to a new leader was a challenging decision. We wanted to ensure that the company would be in good hands and continue to grow. Michal Kraus fulfills all the criteria we set for a great leader. He respects the values that are important to our company and has a clear vision for achieving our goals,” says Michal Hampl.
“The founders have been preparing for this transformation and the handover of Geetoo Technology’s leadership to a new Managing Director for some time. I am genuinely impressed by the excellent groundwork they have done, which has made the transition into my new role smooth, coordinated, and efficient. My goal is to build on the founders’ successes and guide Geetoo into a new era. We have a clearly defined five-year strategy focused on growth, both in business and internal development,” adds Michal Kraus.
