Who is Geetoo Redis for?
Redis is designed for developers who want to oversee the core components of an application instead of worrying about the infrastructure. The general set of customers is extensive. From small companies and startups to large enterprise businesses.
What does running Redis in “as a service” mode mean?
You don’t have to worry about configuring replication, monitoring security, deploying new patches or updates. You don’t have to deal with the infrastructure in the background at all. We handle all these operational matters for you.
Do you also offer Redis hosting (I will manage Redis myself)?
Yes, we can only offer hosting of Redis itself by prior agreement.
What SLAs do you provide for Geetoo Redis?
We provide 99.99% SLA.
For what period of time can I purchase the product?
We offer the product for an indefinite duration, but for a minimum of one month.
I would like to use Geetoo Redis but I can’t consume it in the cloud. Do you also have a solution for On-premise?
Yes, we can provide Geetoo Redis on-premise on your current infrastructure with prior agreement.
Can I move my own Redis to the cloud?
Yes, we are happy to help you with your migration.
Do you offer a demo environment?
Yes, we are happy to set up a free demo environment for you to try for 14 days. The demo environment can then be seamlessly transitioned to the production version.

Which version of Redis do you support?
We always use the latest version from the manufacturer.
When do you upgrade to a new version?
We always support production, stable and verified versions. We do not support beta versions.
What modes do you run Redis in?
Geetoo Redis operates in two basic modes. Stand alonea Cluster. Each mode has its own specifics for use. We will be happy to advise you on their selection.
Do you run a dedicated or shared Redis?
We run Geetoo Redis as a dedicated solution for one customer. We dedicate to the customer a specific VM with computing resources from which the service is operated. This VM is not shared for multiple customers.
How is resource scaling done?
Based on the monitoring outputs, we automatically scale the environment horizontally – the number of nodes in the Redis cluster, and vertically – the number of vCPUs and vRAM. Your message broker always has maximum power at its disposal!
What kind of storage do you offer for Redis?
You can choose from several different disk tiers. We recommend using the fastest SSD layer.
What is the minimum number of replication nodes in a Cluster solution?
The minimum number of replicated nodes is 2.
Can your monitoring systems be integrated with our internal ones?
Yes, this integration can be done by agreement.
Who provides SSL certificates?
We provide secure SSL certificates as part of our service. You don’t have to worry about them.
Where is the data located?
We run the environment on our Geetoo cloud. We do not use the sites of global cloud providers for operations.
Do you back up Geetoo Redis?
Yes, we back up data for added security. If necessary, we can arrange for the recovery of this data.

What items do you charge for within Geetoo Redis?
Geetoo Redis charges for the assigned performance (vCPU, vRAM) of the database. We also charge for the disk space you consume.
What is included in the price?
The price includes the operation of Redis, administration, backup, monitoring and those. 24/7 support.
Is there a charge for bandwidth to and from the cloud?
No. There is no charge for the transferred data.
Are IOPS counts on disk arrays charged?
No. There is no charge for IOPS consumed on disk arrays.
What financial models can I pay for the product in?
You pay on a monthly basis for pre-ordered resources.
License
Do I need to use a software license to use the product?
No, you do not need to use any software for this product.
